Mufti Tariq Masood in Jhelum for debate with Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza

Jhelum: Mufti Tariq Masood on Tuesday said he has arrived in Jhelum to hold a religious debate with Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza in response to the latter’s challenge.

In a video statement, Masood said he would wait for Mirza’s response for 48 hours before leaving the city. He asked Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza to approach him though the contact numbers he’s sharing on his YouTube channel.

Tariq Masood is religious scholar belonging to the Deobandi school of thought which often becomes target of Mirza’s speeches and sermons.

Both the personalities are popular on social media and are followed by millions of people in Pakistan and abroad.

Hours later Engineer Muhammad Ali Mirza shared his response on Facebook.
