Nasira Iqbal, mother of PTI’s Walid Iqbal, slams Imran Khan for securing bail ahead of Jail Bharo Tehreek

Lahore: Justice (retd) Nasira Javid Iqbal has criticized former prime minister Imran Khan for announcing Jail Bharo Tehreek (Fill the jail movement) which saw her son Senator Walid Iqbal surrender before the police.

Speaking on a TV show, the daughter-in-law of Allama Muhammad Iqbal said the PTI leader has secured a pre-arrest bail for himself and is asking his workers to court arrests.

She said the PTI leaders were approaching the courts for bails after being surrendering before police.

She criticized the timing of the Jail Bharo Tehreek, saying the party should be campaigning as election were approaching in Punjab.
