Pakistan ranked world’s 22nd most powerful country, narrowly behind India
KARACHI: An international survey on Monday ranked Pakistan 22nd most powerful nation in the world, narrowly behind India
Carried out by the US News and World Report, the annual survey was based on the answers of over 2000 people from four regions.
According to the survey, the power ranking was based on five attributes,: a country’s leader, its economic influence, its political influence, strong international alliances and a strong military.
United States, Russia, china, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Japan, Israel, Saudi Arabia and South Korea grabbed top ten positions.
India secured 17th position in the power ranking.
