RAWALPINDI: Pakistan troops on Saturday shot down Indian spy drone over the Line of Control, a defacto border between the two countries.

Military spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor tweeted that the Indian spying quardcopter was brought down in Rakchikri Sector along the Line of Control.

“The quadcopter had come 150 meters inside Pakistan,” Asif Ghafoor said.

Hostilities between the two countries brought them to the brink of war last month when India conducted aerial strikes inside Pakistan after Pulwama attack that killed over 40 Indian paramilitaries in Kashmir.

Pakistan shot down two Indian aircraft over Kashmir In a tit-for-tat move a day after Indian air raids and captured one of the pilots.
