Peoples Bus Service Karachi route explained
Karachi: Provincial Minister Sharjeel Memon on Thursday said Peoples Bus Service started exploring and surveying another route on public demand.
He said the new route connects “our earlier operational route from metropole with Teen Talwar, Do Talwar, Abdullah Shah Ghazi underpass , Seaview road, Dolmen Mall, Nishane Pakistan till Clock tower restaurant as the trial route.
A few days ago, the Peoples Bus Service route No. 2 started its formal commercial operations in Karachi.
The buses are operating between North Karachi and the Indus Hospital. They will run Nagan Chowrangi, Shafiq Morr, Sohrab Goth, Gulshan Chowrangi, Nipa, Jauhar Morr, COD, Drigh Road Station, Colony Gate, Shah Faisal Colony, Singer Chowrangi and Landhi to reach the hospital.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari formally inaugurated the service, following which the buses started their operations on route No. 1 from Model Colony to the Tower. A total of 240 buses imported from China will run on seven routes in the city.

Sindh government procured 240 new hybrid air conditioned buses for Karachi which will operate on seven different routes.
As many as 130 buses will operate on several routes in the metropolis which is home to at least 20 million people and commercial hub of the nuclear armed nation.
The Peoples’ Bus Service is a separate project from the network of Bus Rapid Transit lines.
