Police search for man accused of mocking Namaz while dancing

Lahore: Punjab Police on Friday said that directives have been issued to district authorities in Punjab to trace a man who he is accused of mocking Namaz (Muslim prayer).

“This will man soon be in the grip of the law,” the police said in a statement asking people to share information about the man
seen in a viral video.

Thousands of people including clerics condemned the unknown man who is seen performing Namaz while dancing at what looked like a rural wedding.

According to unconfirmed reports, the video was shot in Dera Ghazi Khan, south Punjab.
