Protest in Neelum Valley after FC firing allegedly kills man in Azad Kashmir

Muzaffarabad: Protests broke out in Neelum Valley after Frontier Corps firing allegedly killed a man after the elections in Azad Kashmir.

The Pakistan Army was called in to bring the situation under control after a large number of people gathered in Sharda area where the incident took place.

Videos doing the round on social media showed the Pak Army soldiers helping shift an injured man.

Residents of the area have demanded the authorities take notice of the situation that they said could spiral out of control.

An angry mob was also seen chanting slogans never heard before in the area.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz, whose party faced defeat in AJK elections, was criticized for sharing the video to criticize the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
