PTI’s Khalid Gujjar says son injured in PML-N attack
Lahore: A clash between the PTI and PMLN workers left several people injured, police said on Sunday.
Khalid Gujjar, the PTI candidate from the upcoming by-election, said his son was hit by a vehicle by his opponents and shifted to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
The PTI accused Nazir Chohan of being behind the attack on its office in PP-167 constituency of the Punjab Assembly.
Gujjar said that they have approached police for registration of FIR against the PML-N leaders.
The by-elections on 25 Punjab Assembly seats that fell vacant after PTI MPAs were declared disqualified for voting in favor of Hamza Shehbaz would be held on July 17.
