Purpose of Asif Ali Zardari’s Dubai visit revealed

Islamabad: Former president and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Asif Ali Zardari sparked speculation when he suddenly left for Dubai.

While his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari said the politician arrived in Dubai to spend his birthday with his nine-month old grandson, a PTI leader said that the PPP leader would also engage in a political activity.

Fayaz Chauhan, the former Punjab information minister, said another important personality is also present in Dubai who would try to convince Zardari for early elections in Pakistan.

Multiple sources said that former prime minister Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi and her close friend Farah Gogi are also present in Dubai.

The sources further revealed that Farah is a friend of Owais Muzaffar Tappi, the foster brother of Asif Zardari.

The sources said that Owais Muzaffar considers Farah as his sister.

Zardari travelled to Dubai two days after he convinced Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain to vote in favor of Hamza Shehbaz in the election for the Punjab chief minister.
