Raja Nasir Hanif killed in Bhara Kahu ‘revenge attack’

Islamabad: Gunmen on Thursday shot dead four people including Raja Nasir Hanif and three others in Bhara Kahu area of the capital.

Others who died were identified as Advocate Raja Haroon, Imran Saeed and Adnan.

According to reports, the four men were attacked over a land dispute and a result of a revenge attack.

Police said the attack was carried out to avenge the murder of Raja Zaryab on Jan 1, adding two of the deceased — Raja Nasir and Raja Haroon — had also been nominated in the first information report (FIR).

Zaryab’s father along with others is accused of carrying out the attack on Thursday.

The attack took place in Phulgran near Seri Chowk of Bhara Kahu.
