‘Ramzan Mubarak Pakistan’
After seeking forgiveness for their sins on Shab-e-Barat, Muslims are now eagerly waiting for Mufti Munibur Rehman to say “Ramzan Mubarak Pakistan” after announcing the advent of holy month.
Shab-e-Barat is observed just 15-days ahead of Ramzan, the eight month of Islamic calendar.

Muslims all over the world fast during the days of this month and make special prayers at night.
The month of Ramzan traditionally begins with a new moon sighting, marking the start of the ninth month in the Islamic calendar.
Central Ruet-e-Hilal Commitee, headed by Mufti Munibur Rehman, is the official moon sighting body which announces advent of Ramzan after collecting evidence of crescent sighting from across the country.
The evidence regarding moon sighting are collected by Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees in different parts of the country.
The central body makes the announcement on the basis of evidence collected trough zonal committees.
Ramzan ends when the first crescent of the new moon is sighted again. Eid-ul- Fitr is the Islamic holiday that marks the end of Ramzan.
Even though the holy month is just around the corner, you will have to wait for the maulana to make his announcement before sending “Ramzan Mubarak Pakistan” messages to your family and friends.
