‘Rare’ thunderstorm instills fear in people of Islamabad

Islamabad: Residents of the Pakistani capital were seen running for safety as a thunderstorm battered the capital of Pakistan.

People took shelter as panic gripped amid lightening, strong winds and rain.

Several journalist based in Islamabad said that the thunderstorm was a rare phenomenon they saw in years.

Strong winds uprooted trees and electricity poles in some areas.

No loss of life was reported till the filing of this report.
