Salafi cleric Abdur Rehman accused of insulting Imam Musa Kazim

Karachi: Shia clerics filed blasphemy case under section 295A. 298A and 16 MPO against Salafi cleric Abdur Rehman for allegedly insulting Imam Musa Kazim.

Tehreek-e-Nifaze Fiqa Jafria leader Allama Asghar Ali Naqvi called for the blasphemy trial and execution of Salafi cleric Abdur Rehman Salafi for allegedly insulting Imam Musa Kazim.

Meanwhile, Allama Ibtisam Elahi Zaheer said he has no relation with Abdur Rehman Salafi who allegedly cursed Imam Musa Kazim on social media. He demanded that the government should arrest and punish the culprit. Some people circulated Allama Ibtisam Elahi’s picture with false claims that he was Abdur Rehman Salafi.

Thousands of tweets were posted as people demanded action against Maulana Abdul Rehman for his remarks.
