Sobia Batool’s whereabouts remain unknown as Punjab police rescue girls from brothels

 Islamabad: Sobia Batool was kidnapped from Sargodha district of Punjab in November last year.

DPO Sargodha on Monday told the Supreme Court during the hearing on Sobia Batool that 21 girls had been rescued from brothels, however, Sobia Batool has not been found.

The apex court was also informed that a total of 151 abducted girls were recovered from Sargodha during the operation carried out on the orders of the top court.

A three-judge bench ordered IG Punjab Rao Sardar Ali Khan to take measures to rescue girls including Sobia Batool who were abducted from across Punjab.

The bench headed by Justice Maqbool Baqir rejected bail plea of Muhammad Umair who was arrested in connection with the kidnapping of Sobia Batool.
