Islamabad: The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication on Thursday issued the controversial Social Media Rules 2021.
Under the new rules, the government will take action against any individual posting “immoral content” on social media platforms.
A large number of people have criticized the government’s move which they think is against freedom of expression and basic human rights.
