‘TLP worker’ kills Ahmadi man at bus stop in Rabwah

Lahore: A 62-year-old man was stabbed to death by an alleged member of the Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakiatan (TLP), police said on Friday.

Naseer Ahmad، who belonged to Ahmadiyya minority community, was attacked at a bus stop at Rabwah، a town populated by Ahmadis۔

The TLP man allegedly asked Ahmad to chant slogans in favor of his party founder late Khadim Hussain Rizvi and stabbed him with a knife upon refusal.

Naseer Ahmad died on the spot. The suspected killer was seen chanting TLP slogans when he was arrested.

The alleged Killer was identified as Mohammad Shehzad Hasan Siyalvi Rizvi.

A resident of Sillanwali village in Sargodha, Shehzad Hassan, 27, is a Hafiz e Quran.

The incident took place a day after Pakistan observed the National Minority Day.
