UAE president did not postpone his visit to Pakistan

Islamabad: Reports that President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s cancelled his visit to Pakistan are incorrect.

The president was already in Pakistan and his visit to the country’s capital, Islamabad, was postponed due to bad weather.

The government said the visit will be rescheduled.

Several media outlets incorrectly claimed that he had cancelled his visit to Pakistan. The president was in Rahim Yar Khan area of South Punjab.
