Was Imran Khan slapped in Faisalabad?

Lahore: A purported video of Imran Khan is being circulated by social media users including some senior journalists with claims that the former prime minister was slapped in Faisalabad during the PTI rally.

Punjab Assembly’s Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari was also among the people who shared the video.

The claims are in correct. The video which is a clip from channel 41, a Lahore-based private broadcaster, shows people gathering around Imran Khan during a rally in Faisalabad in 2018.

While the channel claims Khan was slapped by a man identified as Mirza Ramzan, the video does not clearly shows what actually happened.
