What did National Security Committee statement say?

Islamabad: Director General ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar on Monday said “the position of the Armed Forces is the same as stated in the NSC statement.”

He was talking on Hum News. The DG ISPR said he won’t talk much about the matter as the Supreme Court was hearing it.

Shortly after his statement went air, PTI’s official Twitter account interpreted as the army’s approval of the government’s claim about a foreign conspiracy behind the no-confidence motion tabled against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The National Security Committee’s statement, however, did not mention any conspiracy.
