Islamabad: TV anchor and senior journalist Saleem Safi is receivinf backlash from government spokesmen on Thursday over his
latest video uploaded on his YouTube channel.

The Geo News anchor was apparently targeted for sharing the video with a cryptic headline which angered the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf loyalists.

Shehbaz Gill and Arsalan Khalid were the two high profile government spokespersons who hit out at Saleem Safi on social media without writing his first name.

The response left social media users wondering about why the journalist was attacked over his video.

Story is that Saleem Safi, in his latest video, discussed the incidents of “Fake Peers ( Fake faith healers)” robbing people of their money.
