Karachi: Thousands of people on Monday demanded government ban 24 News channel for allegedly promoting vulgarity.

Hashtag #Ban24News became top trend in Pakistan, with people sharing screenshots of news reports posted on the Lahore-based channel’s Twitter account.

Some users also tagged the official Twitter account of the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority to take action against 24 News.
