Why MWM supported Imran Khan’s long march?

Islamabad: Leaders of Majlis Wahdat-e-Musimeen (MWM) were on the forefront of PTI’s Azad March on Wednesday.

The Shia organization is openly supporting Imran Khan after the former prime minister said he was ousted from office as a result of US conspiracy.

The MWM is ideologically allied with Iran’s Islamic government which sees the US as its enemy.

Iranian media also supported Imran Khan when he was removed from office.

Khan’s popularity in Iran and among Shia community of Pakiatan grew after he said a US diplomat was involved in helping Pakistan’s opposition alliance to bring a no-confidence motion against him.
