Zil Hajj moon sighted; Eid-ul- Adha on August 12

Karachi: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Friday announced that the moon of Zil Hajj has been sighted and Eid ul Azha will be celebrated on August 12, Monday.

The announcement was made by Committee Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman who had chaired the meeting of the moonsighting body.

Eid-ul-Adha holidays in Pakistan 2019

The government on Wednesday notified Eid-ul-Azha holidays in Pakistan.

According to the notification, there will be four holidays from August 12 to 15 on the occassion of Eid ul Azha.
