Syed Haider Rizvi dies in car accident in Punjab

Lahore: Young poet Syed Haider Rizvi died in a tragic car accident near Jaranwala in Punjab on Friday.

Rizvi, who is admired by millions of Pakistanis for his Islamic poetry, lost his life when his car hit a truck shortly after he left his house.

His funeral prayers were held in his hometown in the presence of hundreds of people. Social media websites were flooded with tributes to Syed Haider Rizvi who won hearts of millions of people with his poetry that was dedicated to Hazrat Ali and his offspring.
