Shehryar Afridi’s nephew passes away

A nephew of federal minister and senior PTI leader Shehryar Afirid died on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter, the minister wrote, “With a heavy heart, I confirm that my nephew Jawad Afridi has left for his eternal abode today. In these times of shock & pain, I request all to pray for the departed soul & patience for bereaved family. Gratitude.”

Although the minister did not share the cause of death, one of the deceased’s former colleagues at Hum News said Jawad Afridi committed suicide.
