Amnesty highlights plight of Kashmiris

Indian held Kashmir is under constant curfew since August 5.

India had stripped the Muslim majority region of its autonomy last month after deploying tens of thousands of additional troop, blocking communications amid a crackdown.

As the siege of the valley continues, Amnesty International has repeatedly urged India to lift the curfew and communication blockade to let Kashmiri people speak.
