Story is that scores of Pakistani men seemed to have been taken aback by a “revealing picture” of the actress which she posted on her Instagram in March–the time when majority of Pakistani didn’t even know about her existance.

Haleema, the character played by Esra in “Ertugrul”, became a household name after Pakistan Television, the state-run TV, started airing the series with Urdu language dubbing under arrangements with Turkey’s TRT broadcaster.

Esra, who played the love interest of Ertugrul, is being criticized by Pakistani male fans who failed to come to terms with the fact that she is not Haleema Sultan in real life.

In the picture shared by Esra Bilgic, she looks stunning while donning a western outfit.

The actress has amassed over 2 million followers on Instagram. The Pakistani fans who have bombarded her post with hateful comments also failed to realize that they are tarnishing the image of their own country.
