Faisal Vawda in a fix over religiously inappropriate TV remarks; apologizes for mistake
KARACHI: Faisal Vawda, a federal minister and a senior leader of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, has apologized for his remarks which many called religiously inappropriate.
The minister was participating in ARY talk-show when he shocked viewers with his remarks which he made in an effort to eulogize Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling the former cricket hero as “the greatest human being”.
The video of the show was instantly shared on the social media with users condemning the minister .
Faisal Vawda has apologized for what he said wrong choice of words calling it a mistake which “we all make”.
He said he only meant to say that Imran Khan was doing everything for the defence of Pakistan as prime minister of the country.
