Fans voice support for Johnny Depp after leaked tape shows Amber Heard hit him
Fans are voicing support for actor Johnny Depp on Twitter after a leaked recording of his conversation with Amber Heard in which his ex-wife admits she hit him.
The pair had married in 2015 and their divorce was finalized in 2017. Tha Aquaman star filed for divorce in May 2016, accusing Depp of physically assaulting her during their brief marriage.
The actor also wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post where she said she “felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out” .
The recording of the ex couple’s conversation that was made with their consent during a therapy session which the then husband and wife had undergone in order to talk through their marriage issues.
According to The Daily Mail , it acquired the recording from a “well-placed source.”
The Mail reported that there could be more tapes, which could play a role in the $50 million defamation lawsuit Depp filed against Heard in Virginia.
Condemnations poured in on Twitter after fans of the “Public Enemies” actor found out that Amber Heard was an alleged perpetrator.
His fans has accused Heard of using lies and hiding behind feminism to demonize the Hollywood superstar.
They also attacked feminists for lending support to Amber Heard and damaging Johnny Depp’s career.

Taunting her husband for fleeing the scene of the argument,she says, “You are such a baby. Grow the f— up Johnny.”
“You poke an animal enough, it is eventually, it doesn’t matter how friendly it is, it’s not cool,”.
“I left last night,” Depp said in the tape. “Honestly, I swear to you because I just couldn’t take the idea of more physicality, more physical abuse on each other. Because had we continued it, it would have gotten f— bad. And baby, I told you this once. I’m scared to death we are a f— crime scene right now.”
“I can’t promise you I won’t get physical again,” Heard warned. “God I f— sometimes get so mad I lose it.”
