Pakistan weather report: 20-02-2019

Karachi is expected to receive rain on Wednesday, according to the Met Office.

The Met Office said widespread rain coupled with thunderstorm is also expected in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Islamabad and Kashmir Gilgit Baltistan.

The weather forecast stated that some areas in Balochistan including Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, Sibbi, Nasirabad divisions were expected to receive snowfall over the hills.

Rains are likely to trigger flash flooding in hills torrents in Balochistan and Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan district.

It also warned that heavy rains may trigger landslides in Malakand, Hazara division, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.
