Shahroz Sabzwari reacts to divorce rumors
Karachi: Celebrity couple Syra and Shahroz Sabzwari have reportedly split seven years after they tied the knot, multiple reports claimed on Sunday.
The parents of a minor daughter became top Twitter trend in Pakistan on Sunday when users started claiming they are no longer a couple.
Apart from Syra and Shahroz Sabzwari, another celebrity also became a hashtag trend soon after the reports of the alleged split surfaced.
Social media users blamed the tpair’s separation on Sadaf Kanwal with claims that Shahroz was cheating on her wife with Kanwal, a charge that she denied in an exclusive talk with Divaonline, a popular entertainment portal.
She told the website that she and Shahroz were nothing more than best friends, denying her role in the couple’s separation.
A day after the rumors took the social media by storm, Shahroz Sabzwari came forth with a video message.
While he conceded that there were some problems between him and wife, he categorically denied they have ended their marriage.
