Veena Malik has recently intensified criticism of opposition parties particularly PMLN leader Maryam Nawaz.
While she has been lauded by supporters of the ruling party for attacking the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, PMLN workers have called her out for what they described as below the belt remarks against
their leader.
The actress has also drawn criticism from liberal activists who PTI considers as sympathizers of the opposition parties.
Veena might have crossed some limits in her Twitter tirades, but she has received applause from PTI supporters for her response to Geo News anchor Wajih Sani who had written a controversial caption using her name with an old photo of Prime Minister Imran Khan and his close aide Naeemul Haq.
The controversy took a new turn when people angered by her tweets started sharing nude photos of Veena Malik.
The nude photos from December 2011 cover of Indian magazine FHM shows the actor posing nude with ISI written on her arm.
Although the actress had dubbed the photos doctored and announced to sue the Indian men’s magazine, the opponents were sharing the pictures on Twitter in response to her Tweets.
Political commentator Gul Bukhari also tweeted the nude photo of Veena Malik to criticize what she called Pakistani deep state.
