An Urdu language newspaper recently instilled fear in Lahoris with a story that they might be eating frogs at some restaurants in the cultural capital of Pakistan.

Although the police arrested the men, they let them go after being informed that the frogs were being transported to a laboratory which sells them to medical colleges.

According to police, the men were detained only because the frogs belonged to a rare species which were released to a river.
