9 November 2019 holiday in Pakistan

Pakistan marks Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s birth anniversary on Saturday November 9.

People have been wondering-like every year- whether government has announced a holiday on the Allama’s to mark his birth anniversary.

The day used to be a public holidays long ago before government put an end to it.

It is now a routine working day and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government too has continued with the decision of previous governments to not announce a holiday.

The reason for not giving the holiday has been to avail less holidays and work more to realize the dream of Pakistan’s founding fathers.
